Frederick “Toots” Hibbert lead singer of Toots and the Maytals, was injured in the head when a bottle was thrown by an audience member at a concert in Richmond, VA on Saturday.

Hibbert was taken to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and treated for a forehead laceration then released.

Applicants must be conducting current research relevant to the program's themes and objectives, be open to exploring and incorporating comparative, interdisciplinary approaches in their investigations, and interested in developing collaborative activities with other Fulbright NEXUS Scholars.
