The United States Embassy in Georgetown informs all U.S. citizens that the Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies (UWI-SRC), St. Augustine, Trinidad has notified authorities in the Eastern Caribbean that there has been heightened seismic activities at Kick 'Em Jenny which is an underwater volcano located in the Southern Grenadines. This activity is being closely monitored by the UWI-SRC and further updates will be issued as more information becomes available.
U.S. citizens are advised to monitor local National Emergency Management Organizations for updates on the situation and for information on emergency preparedness. Please share this message with other U.S. citizens who might not have received it.
