Carlos Morgan, a talented singer, songwriter, producer is poised to break on a global level. Born and raised in Toronto to Jamaican parents. Morgan was born to sing. He grew up singing in church and school. His deep and undying love and passion for music has brought him to achieve great success and low valleys but despite the highs and lows of the music business, Morgan continues to strive.

Feelin' Alright,, Morgan’s  debut album, showcased the diversity of Morgan’s sultry singing style with seductive ballads like ‘Let Me Love Again’ and ‘Forever For You’ to the upbeat R&B tracks ‘Give It To You’ and ‘Baby C’Mon’. Originally recorded as an independent release for DTone Records, it quickly became one of Canada's hottest selling indie albums of 1996/97, topping the charts at #3 on The Record's Independent charts after only two weeks of release.

Having the creative control he desired, Morgan’s vision is to fuse the diversity of music genres that inspire him melding them with his R&B signature so there will be no mistake interpreting which genre Morgan calls home. Using his sizable vocal gifts, arrangements and ability to deliver multi-layered harmonies while utilizing his song writing and production skills, Morgan succeeds at making “The Compilation” an album that will make an international impact.     

On the album, Morgan brings high energy R&B/Soul & Pop music with such songs as “Something ‘Bout You”, “Fascinated” Ft. Shug and “Forever For You” (Soul Mix).  Known to be a balladeer, Morgan also brings romantic songs like “Sweet As You Are” and “Just Jane

Morgan has written and produced songs along with producers including Craig McConnell, Peter Natale, Colin Munroe and Tyson Kuteyi.

Carlos Morgan was honored at the   Juno Awards for the Best R&B/ Soul Recording (equivalent to the Grammys), MuchMusic Video Award for Best R&B/Soul Video (equivalent to the MTV Video Awards), 2 Canadian Urban Music Awards (equivalent to the Soul Train Awards) and other numerous awards.  Morgan was also the 2nd ever recipient of the SOCAN Urban Music Award for both talent and pioneering efforts to bring notoriety to the many gifted urban music artists in Canada. In 2002 Morgan had the repeated distinction to be included in the Canadian Who’s Who - Canada’s oldest and most complete who’s who publication. “Those included are selected based on merit alone, judged on the contribution they have made to life in Canada.” - Elizabeth Lumley, Editor.

In 2013, Morgan won first place for the “John LennonGot 2 Luv U” Songwriting Contest” with guest judge, Sean Paul.
