It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Ms. Sarah Insanally, beloved wife of His Excellency Dr. Riyad Insanally, Ambassador of Guyana to the United States of America and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States.
Ms. Insanally has been battling a brain tumour for nearly 20 years and passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. She was 51 years old and leaves behind two children, Emily and Jamie and husband of 21 years Ambassador Riyad Insanally.
