Seven young members of the Guyanese delegation departed Cheddie Jagan International Airport yesterday to participate in the 2015 Youth Ambassadors Program with the Caribbean in the United States under the theme: “Youth and Social Transformation.”
The Youth Ambassadors Program sponsored by the Department of State, provides youth with some of the tools and resources they need to help realize their potential as leaders and to be proactive in their own development.
The focal points of this program are civic participation, appreciation of multi-ethnic diversity, and youth leadership.
