American and Guyanese Citizens Convicted of Conspiracy to Launch Attack at JFK Airport
U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of New York - Brooklyn - August 02, 2010 - Following a six-week jury trial, Russell Defreitas and Abdul Kadir were convicted today in the Eastern District of New York of conspiring to attack John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York, by exploding fuel tanks and the fuel pipeline under the airport.

Vibert Parvatan, Chairman of the St. John’s Association of Guyana, was presented with an Epson Digital LCD Projector valued at $250,000 by Raymond Hall (his nephew) who resides in the USA.
