Guyanese United "Get out the Youth Vote" event was a great success. There were several hundred individuals who milled in and out throughout the afternoon and benefited from the announcements which were delivered approximately 45 minutes apart. The initial start was scheduled for 1:00 pm but because of the heat, the attendees started to arrive after 2:30 p:m.

In regards to Kaieteur News editorial on 9 Feb. 2020 entitled, "Give us a fair deal or leave," I was reminded of an old Yiddish proverb, “A half-truth is a whole lie." The people of Guyana deserve better than this type of one-sided reporting.
